founder / designer / president, minoritees
born in jamaica and raised in connecticut, spencer made new york his home in 2000. graduating from the university of connecticut with a bachelor of science degree in information systems, he began his career as a business consultant. equal parts creative and analytical, he left the corporate environment to pursue freethinking, freelance work in graphic and web design, and art direction under the moniker scoer media. In the near future, spencer will launch new ventures including a new clothing line.



minoritees - the collective brainchild of founders collin spencer and austin green was founded in 2004. the partnership sought to create a product that was both smart and stylish, geared at celebrating the minority and our multi-cultural influences.

designs not solely based on race, but inclusive of the individual in all of us. simply put, minoritees offers conscious causal apparel geared toward an often over-looked market. It's focus?

actor, writer, photographer, and artist are just a few of the hats minoritees cofounder austin green wears. born in chicago, raised in denver, green moved to new york pursue a degree in the arts in 1998. no stranger to thinking outside the 'fashion' box, green jumped at the opportunity to create a label that is both sexy, innovative and speaks to issues near to him. however, don't expect to see him limit his talents to the fashion arena. look out for the launch of austin green photography later this fall.
